Summer 2020
Since 2015 I have been designing and producing jewelry in my little 100 sq. foot studio at the end of the world. Due to the obvious, this year would be the first year since I’ve opened that I would decide to keep the doors closed. I do so with with a heavy heart, but there are too many factors to consider regarding the safety of my family and the safety of others.
Though these are trying times I promise that I have found many gems in the rough. In many ways I was lucky enough to get “stuck” in my studio for months during lock-down. The work I created during this time reminded me of why I do what I do. It has inspired me to push forward toward my passion in fine art-forward jewelry, and I hope to carry this energy with me though 2021.
Other lock-down gems.
Website: Customers can now book appointments for design consultations, or check availability for custom work on the calendar.
I have begun documenting my custom projects. I now offer this to my customers.
It can be a fun way to follow a gift, or a moving way to usher a proposal.
I have updated the website to focus on my Spacescapes collection.
I have been able to focus on what I’m really passionate about and have been designing jewelry that represents those passions.
I look forward to see what the rest of 2020 brings. You can be sure I will be utilizing the rest of this “alone time” at the bench or with a notebook. I hope to see you soon, and if we are really lucky perhaps the before the summer of 2021!
Be safe my friends,
Cyle
